I'm not a big fan of chick flicks, either. I actually can't stand the Notebook (caca, sappy) - much prefer comedy driven chick flicks (how to loose a guy in 10 days) then any other drama crap.
I dunno, a person who has those types of expectations are bonkers but whatever... no big deal. I've actually met guys who are corny romantic like that, it's not what it's cracked up to be... true-self comes out and the psycho parade begins.
