I love this article Aquilah! I don't know if you know this, but Maverick has unknown food allergies. Once so severe, we had to go to the ER for an allergy attack that really freaked us out. His face swelled up like a boxer getting KO'd- with little red cauliflower ears and everything. He started gasping because the swelling was blocking his airway.

To this day we don't know what his reactions were based on. We think maybe pesticides in skins of certain fruits, so, we have gone organic on all fruits and veggies. He's also not allowed all the common allergens, like nuts and eggs.
We have to keep a food journal of everything he eats and drinks. He also has to have two Epi-pens, Benadryl, and Prednisalone (sp?)- it's some sort of steroid- on him at all times.
