I think its about getting the technique right. I think I look fine with heavy makeup but I only do it when its approriate and it depends who Im seeing.
When I wear so much makeup I know I look different, and I dont want to be that girl you dont recognize when the makeup is gone. I always try not to cross that line, and no matter what remember to enhance, not change, your features!
Simply I do look just fine with a little eyeliner and mascara, but when I wear eyeshadow and fake eyelashes people still compliment me. I do bright colors now and then. And then there is always things maybe you just can't pull off, I look 10 years older with red lips, and an all black smoky eye is a no for me, but I still like black eyeshadow on the outer corner and as thick eyeliner for example.
