i tried these
DRY without a primer and the color didn't show up. today i tested it dry and tried it underneath l'oreal decrease (on one eye) and UDPP (on the other eye).. and whoohoo! colors were there. so these do need to be applied with a base or can be applied wet in order to see the color..
