I just ordered a bunch of samples from Alima. ( Mineral Makeup, Natural Mineral Cosmetics, Sensitive Skin Care | Alima Pure) Some foundations, primer, & finisher. I tried them back when I was just looking into MMU (almost 2 years ago) and I didn't care for it, but I was still getting the application technique down. It's a little more expensive than Lauress so I won't be too upset if I don't love it, but I liked it enough to want to give it another attempt. Most people seem to either love it or hate it so I guess we'll see.
I don't really care for their new website. Those pull out menus are a pain in the you-know-what. It took me forever to get my order in there cuz I had to keep trying to get those pull out menus to stay open.
I'm a little concerned that they took away the Light Yellow Finisher. I'm definitely more golden than neutral, but I went with what the site suggested, so we'll see...
I bought a sample of the lipbalm too. I like Everyday Minerals lipcolors but it's always good to have options.  (or so I tell myself)
Has anyone tried Everyday Minerals lipsticks since I think they changed the packaging into tubes? Or am I wrong and it's still in pots? |
I didn't think Alima was more expensive than Lauress the last time I looked anyway? I always think Lauress seems so expensive, but maybe that's just my perception -
I like Alima's new website though - I think it's very "classy".
You are right - Everyday Minerals lip colors are in tubes now. They are much more pigmented than the ones in pots were. EM is having so many problems right now though -
