I saw this on the first 48 last night and I cried for about an hour. That has to be so far, the saddest murder case. It was apparent that Jessie was mentally disturbed and institutionalized from being in prison the first time as a young man/teenager. The other three children had severe injuries to the head, he left a knife blade in the infants head I believe....All of this over an argument and he killed the children and tried to kill the other three simply because "they saw him."
No matter the excuse, no matter the reason...
And I am surprised that the family is startled more than disgusted. They were in protective custody with him because they assumed that this was a "blackout" they were in hiding with the killer
