itīs been a while since Iīve been to a Christening but as far as I remember people usually dress pretty conservative, and are not too made up/dressed up. Iīd say the safest choice would be black slim dress pants with a colored top (pastels would look great on you I bet), not too high black heels.
Or you could wear a light colored knee length skirt with a uni colored top, but I am guessing it might be too cold for that. At least itīd be too cold for that in our churches, they are usually freezing cold!
