BROWNIE POINTS
Apply an army green shadow to your lids, extending it just past your outer corners. Dip a liner brush in brown shadow (try MAC Eye Shadow in Brown Down, $14, gloss.com) and use it to line your top lash lines, extending the tail 1/4 inch past your outer corners.

GO DEEP
Some dark nail polishes can stain your nails a yellowish color, so use a basecoat (try Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Shine Base & Top Coat, $5, at drugstores) before applying color. For a subtler look, first apply a coat of a metallic silver polish on top (try OPI Nail Lacquer in Happy Anniversary, $8, opi.com). When you wear dark polish, leave the sides of your nails unpolished; it makes nails look longer.

GOLD STAR
Sweep a pale khaki-gold shadow (try the lightest shade from Stila Eye Shadow Trio in Forest Clove, $30, sephora.com) from your lashes to just above your creases and along your lower lash lines. Curl your top lashes and coat them with black mascara.
