Rave for Camellia-Rose Skin Smoothing Primer!

I have been using Jen's primer for the past 4-5 days now, and I am so blown away by what a difference it makes to the way my skin feels and looks that I have to recommend it highly.

Previously I had tried powder primers (eg. silk powder, silica powder) and something about these powders made my skin feel really dry and uncomfortable. I have also tried Pure Luxe's Cream Eraser, and while it worked wonderfully to soften my pores, I found that I would get little flakes coming off my cheeks when I buffed foundation over the primer... The Eraser being kinda thick and sticky was also tricky to apply (or maybe that was just me)

Anyway, Jen's Skin Smoothing Primer is a lightweight gel and it goes on really smoothly - a cinch to apply. It takes a bit longer to dry than the PL Eraser because it's more liquid, so there is time to smooth it out evenly all over your face and the foundation is less likely "cling" to more concentrated areas.

TIP: I learn something new this week - Damp brush application + Silicone-based primers (eg PL Eraser, & CR Skin Smoothing Primer) don't go so well together.

Up till now I preferred damp application because I was getting better coverage this way. The foundation melded better with my skin, and I didn't look and feel so powdery... (<-- Using Meow)

BUT NOW - I am finding that because this primer makes my skin feel so smooth and moisturized, DRY brush application actually looks GOOD on me. Wow. No dryness, no powderiness, and no pores.
