My son is finally here!
Hello fellow MUters,
Aaaaah labor! what a amazing and painful experience. I was induced on the 17th but 17 hours of labor...12 hours a la natural...5 hours with epidurals.
Thank god for epidural..haha my lovely anestheologist is my hero.hahah after getting that I never had to deal and cry over my contractions. Hurts like shit.
I pushed for 3 hours only because I was too exhasuted and sleepy during my pushing. My poor baby had to be pulled my vaccum but since that didnt work forceps was my last options since i really wanted to have a vaginal birth.
We stayed in the hospital for 3 days...the first 24hours I didnt sleep because my baby was crying. The doctor said its because he has the worse headache ( from the vaccum and forceps)thats why he was being fuzzy. I was miserable for 2 days because not only did he had a heachache...My colesterum wasnt coming out or being produced yet so i was having a hard time breastfeeding.
Thank god after 4 days my milk started producing and i was able to feed him. Talk about breastfeeding.
The first week i lost 36 pounds from the 57 pounds i gained.
Yea I got a long way to go...My body looks and feels different since I got pregnant and gave birth. Its okay..my body created this beautiful miracle of life. I dont regret any of it. Looking at my son every morning.day.and night.. We are truly blessed to have him.
Motherhood is exhausting and demanding but its very rewarding.
Ill blog again when i have time..I hear my son crying next door.
