I've been looking for a new job for the past little while, and I feel like I'm not getting anywhere.

There aren't any jobs going in my immediate area, I have sent out CV's to all the salons and spas up here in the mountains, and no one is hiring at the moment, I have applied for jobs as far down as Parramatta and even in the city, I'm not fussy, and quite willing to travel.

The only places that have been hiring are in the city, a few places have been keen, however, when they find out that I live in the blue mountains, they say I live too far away for them to hire me

I plan on moving to Sydney before the end of the year, but telling them doesn't seem to matter. Urgghhh it's so frustrating, and really disheartening, especially when places tell you, they'd be happy to hire you, if it weren't for the fact that I'd have to travel so far to work.

Knock back after knock back..it's very disheartening, I am just trying to be positive about it and hope that something will come along soon, I guess it wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't so desperate to get out of my current job.

Let me start off by saying that when it comes to money I am always in denial about it. I try to act like money is no big deal and I can handle it! Well I was wrong!!
Looking at the amount in my checking account is a big wake up call! I barely have 100 bucks in there! It's embarassing! I really want to cry! I just started thinking how am I suppose to live a life with only 100 bucks and some change. I would really like to move out of my parents crib and get my own place...but hell I can't even afford a happy meal! I hate being poor...it's no fun! I finally have a job after a year of job hunting...but it sucks and the pay is crap!

If anyone has any ideas or things I could do to make some money on the side it would be greatly apprieciated!



And you know when I do get paid...half if not all of my money goes to some damn gas..it's like I never got paid at all. I would just like to be well off.......sucks
