I just received my order of some MAC blushcremes. I paid for 2 day shipping but it took longer to get here because my card was declined because I typed it in wrong or something, so I had to call and give them the info again.

One of the blushcremes I ordered was Cheery. Described as a soft caramel pink, and looks like a really nice pink in the swatch, but is NOTHING like what it looks online! I know that MAC online swatches are misleading, but I didn't know it would be THIS misleading!...

hehe...I think Nury or Shaundra would get a laugh out of this. I know they've noticed how horrible their promo pics are...unblended eyeshadow, sloppy application, etc.

So I've had three Tendertones for a while, (from last year's collection), but only last week did I discover how much I like them. Everyone always raved about them, but I didn't see what was so special, until I went somewhere really hot last week, and these kept my lips so moisturized and added a tiny bit of color! On Wednesday night of finals week, there's a tradition at UCLA where students strip down to their undies and run down a predetermined path. I never had a problem with it before because I lived in the dorms, so it was far from the path and I usually finish finals by Wednesday night.

But Undie Run has grown in popularity and I have a final tomorrow! Can you imagine how noisy 1,000 drunk, almost naked students can be??

So I've been interested in some Japanese drugstore makeup for a while, but I never got around to looking for them in LA. I've discovered a few stores that are Japanese drugstore makeup heaven! It's great going into them. A lot of brands have very nice packaging. I'm totally getting ripped off with these imported prices. It would be so much cheaper getting it online, but I like to walk around and look at things.
