At any rate, I got the three girls ready after finishing up last minute touches on the food for the wake and cleaning up the kitchen and then I got myself ready.

I have a routine that I try to stick to when I get ready- I go upstairs and don't come down until I'm ready to go. Allen was downstairs taking care of Noah and I came down, ready to go. I was wearing my khaki green dress almost identical to this...

It seems that I never get around to doing all the things I intend on doing and then I put myself on a major guilt trip. I haven't written about Allen, my wonderful husband, ever. You would have thought that I would have taken the time to write about him when I was on bed rest during my pregnancy. But it seemed I never got around to it. So, today is his day
