Hi Friends..

So I have been MIA for awhile and I guess I should let everyone know why. I recently left my BF and moved back to the SF Bay Area. I am currently looking for my own apartment and working for Benefit Cosmetics again. The first night I was back my car was broken into and my laptop was stolen from my trunk. Sooo...all of my pictures..everything are gone. I guess I am one of those dummies who don't back things up. Oh well. Luckily my computer was password locked and nothing could be viewed or opened on it.

The following week my Great-Grandmother fell and broke her hip and shoulder. She developed an infection and passed away a week later. So as you can imgaine with all this, a broken heart and the Holidays...it's been hard. But I am optimistic and things are slowly getting better.

So I told everyone that my BF's mom went in to have her lung removed. Well once the Doctors went in the realized that the cancer was actually totally wrapped around her windpipe and cannot be removed. The lung removal was the only option after her cancer had not responded to chemo for the past few months. So it seems that this is the end of the road for conventional treatment. They will not pursue further chemo.

I talked to her today and it was just heartbreaking. Knowing that there is something inside you that can kill you, but you can only try and hold it at bay. This has been a really emotional road for me. I know there is always hope and so many alternative things that she can try. Just wanted to let you all know. Thank You for your thoughts and prayers..it is very appreciated.
