Wow! It feels like forever. I didn't stop posting so much because of school which was getting me a bit down as because of the crunch of the holidays as well. I feel relaxed and finally have some time to sit backand catch up with all of you. I got new Sephora product for Christmas and I'm still trying to figure my way around with makeup. I'm really looking forward to catching up with everybody!! I love this community and I've really missed it.

I've read a few rants about lack of participation on makeup related matters and I feel a bit bad about it. I want to be able to participate, but I'm such a novice. I love the information, but I just can't add much to it. I try to pitch in with moral support and the occassional uneducated opinion, but I do appreciate the posts which contain so much useful information.

Geez, I've been busy. I must have gone a week without posting here. I'm doing OK though. I decided one thing I won't let my students affect is my attitude. I got a new makeup stash at the MAC store this weekend. I picked up lipsticks and a highlighter. Parent teacher conferences are this week so I'll actually be wearing a suit. Its amazing how many dresses I've worn since the last time I had a suit on lol. I'm one of those 4 pairs of shoes guys--black and brown for work, black for dress, and gym shoes.

Well we had a Halloween party last night. It helped a lot to get over from some of the junk from the past week. I made a stop at the wake first so I really needed to have a party. We had a lot of fun and I am very fortunate I don't seem to get hangovers.

One of my students was shot and killed over the weekend. Teaching this week has been very draining. Last night I was in bed by 7:30. I'll post more soon.
