I am putting myself on a very strict budget this year. I am writing down every penny I spend. I want to save at least $5000 this year.

I am also in search for a hobby. There are no clubs or classes here. I hope to stumble upon something soon.

I am also trying to speak more positive. If I can't say anything nice, I won't say it at all.

So, no makeup for me until my birthday in Febuary. A least it's not to far away.

I really need to vent. It's hard to talk to people that I know in real life about this.

My mom got her 3rd or 4th DUI Friday night. The only time that she is not drinking is when she is at work. I don't remember the last time I saw her when she was not drinking. (unless I saw her at her job)

She called my sister to come sign and pick her up from jail. My sister was at work and could not leave. Mom says, "You can leave! I AM YOUR MOTHER!" Umm. Mom, your not in the hospital or broken down on the side of the road. YOUR IN JAIL FOR DRIVING DRUNK!!!!

She may not know that I know about Friday night. She called yesterday around 2 p.m. to check on something and she acted like nothing had happened. She called a minute ago. She got all defensive and I didn't even mention friday night. It's like she is trying to blame everyone else. If that makes since. Hard to explain.

My sister, mom and I are suppose to go out to eat tomorrow for Christmas and I really don't want to go. It's like my mom doesn't even exsist. The mom that took such good care of me as a child is gone. The woman I know now is a hot mess.

Thanks mom!! What a great Christmas present!!

My boyfriend gave my Cmas gift to me today. It's a beautiful ring. It's not an engagement ring. I can't wait to see how nice my ering will be.....
We can never wait until Cmas or birthdays to open gifts. We can't stand it! We get so excited. He got me just what I asked for. So sweet and I am so thankful to have such a great guy to spend Cmas with!

It's almost Christmas! I can't wait. My darling boyfriend is getting me something special this year. A ring. We have been together for almost two years and he hasn't bought me jewelry so I am excited! He is getting a bow for hunting. LOL. I am almost done with shopping. Thank goodness!

I really wish that instead of buying for the adults in the family, we could buy for needy kids. Why buy people that don't NEED anything something when you can help out a family in need? It's one thing if I was loaded with cash, but being self-employed takes it toll sometimes. This is one of my rants at Christmas. I still plan on buying a couple of things for a family but I wish I could do so much more!

That's right, I said y'all. I am from the South and half of you would snicker if you could hear me talk. Men tell me it's cute to hear a Southern gal talk. I think Paula Dean has a Southern draw, so I can't imagine what you CAL and Northern gals would think.

Living here in the middle of nowhere has it's charms, I must say. People are so kind and caring. Whenever someone needs help, loss of job or home in disaster, people come running to help out. When someone becomes ill or has medical bills they can't pay, somebody is going to get a fundraiser lined up. Churches give money to those in need. I seen churches buy cars and pay off medical debts.

People here claim to be kin to you if your thier 5th cousin. So, it's like one big happy family. I think that is where the South got the bad reputation for marring kin. I only know two first cousins that married and the kids turned out fine. lol

Everybody knows your business. You can't do a thing with out someone knowing 30 mins. later. I got a ticket for not stopping at a stop sign as a teen. My dad knew it before I made it home. My drive home was only 15 mins!

Gossip runs like wildfire here too. I have been pregnant 4 times, married 3 times, I hear. Facts: Married once, never been pregnant.

I would love to be closer to a Target, a mall, and a MAC counter but I love my home. I wouldn't trade it for nothing!
