Okay, so I havn't posted a MUT blog yet (bad Manda, bad!). So, I figured, hey, I'm bored at work, why don't I post one now?? Don't really know what to post about so I'll just tell you the goings ons of my bf's birthday party this past weekend.

My bf Steve just turned 21 (FINALLY!) last week and we wanted to have a party to celebrate and invite all our friends to come over, drink and have fun. The only problem was that we didn't have anywhere to have the party! Luckily, he was able to talk his older (this guy is like 40 something) friend into letting us have it at his house. We get a couple of 36 packs a big bottle of Captain Morgan (and Coke, have to have my Captain and Coke--Coca Cola not blow lol) and some firewood.

So everyone comes over, the guys set up beer pong, which, the couple times I've played I'm actually pretty good at it, but no beer pong for me that night. Everyone is having a good time, no big issues, some people are even dancing in the backroom adjacent to the backyard.

Well, I was sitting out by the fire pit along with my girlfriend and some other people, when Steve comes to tell me and his friend Jeff that some guy just grabbed him and pushed him out of the backroom. Steve didn't want to start anything so he just said WTF and came to tell Jeff since he had invited these guys.

So while he's talking to me about it, he starts getting pretty pissed about it. It is his bday party and his friends house, this guy, who we didn't even know, had no right to disrespect him like that and for no reason! It's not like my bf was going to try to dance with that guy and the chick that was grinding her butt on his you-know-what spot, he was just trying to go out the door (plus my bf does not dance). So anyway, one of my bf's other friends goes up to the guy and calmly tells him that he needs to leave, he f-ed up, they don't want any problems, just get out of here. Him and his friends go to leave and by now, most of my bf's friends know why they are leaving. I, having had a few drink of Captain and Coke, am saying dumb stuff to the guy as he walks out, mostly about his ugly jacket.

Sidebar: Okay, I am not the fashion police, but this guy's jacket was just plain ugly and ridiculous. It is not something that a straight guy, especially someone in our group of friends would ever wear. It actually looked like a woman's jacket (an ugly one that you see at the store thinking WHO would buy THAT?). This jacket was metallic poop brown, with what looked like roadkill around the collar. Now I love faux fur jackets, I have like 3 or 4 with faux fur, but dang, my jackets look GOOD. This thing was just hideous, something that a straight guy who would ever dream of deeming himself as cool should not wear. Oh and believe me, that guy heard all that too, lol.

Anyway, so they all get out to the front and I guess along the way they started talking s*it to my bf's friends who went out front after them. I follow the group of them out and by the time I get out there, punches are already being thrown. I'm told by somebody to go get Mike, one of my bf's friends who's pretty muscular and loves a good fight. I run back and tell him what's going on and by then, EVERYONE knows what is going on and more guys are coming out to f- the lame guys up. When I get back, one of my girl friends is holding her guy back (he's pissed about this, but she's a strong girl lol), another girl friend is screaming at her bf not to get involved and he's screaming back at her not to take away his balls or something, I can't even find my bf. I am still talking sh*t to the one guy about his jacket though (which I guess he must have put in the car for safe keeping since he doesn't have it on, lol!).

I decide I don't want to get hit, so me and my drink go back to the front yard to try to calm things down between my friend and her bf (the one with(out) the balls). The lame guys finally get in their car to leave and as everyone comes back into the front yard, they feel the need to stop (they want to get their butts kicked some more I guess???) to talk more sh*t. I was sick of it, I took my drink, cup and all and flung it hard as I could across the windshield, I hope I got sticky soda inside the car. Someone else followed suit and threw a full beer can (you could definetly hear the thump) at the car. The guy Mike starts punching the lame jacket guy sitting in the front passenger seat through the window and finally they drive away (although they did drive back and forth on the cross street a few times...umm okay lol).

My bf comes to me, all happy and smiling (???) telling me he kicked the guy in the face 3 times, my girl friend who was holding her guy back shows me her swollen hand where she punched one of the guys and both of the chicks (she's nuts!). Only one guy comes back a while later (after fighting with some totally random guy ??) with a bloody nose and admits defeat (LOL!).

So yeah, that was my boyfriend's 21st Bday Party excitement. Luckily no one was seriously injured (although I know the lame jacket crew had to be hurting, they got pretty f-ed up, but I don't know why they kept coming back for more??) and the cops never came. And seriously, I better never see that ugly jacket again, it's haunting my dreams!
