These past few days at MUT have been soo exciting for me! First Marisol nominates me for MOTM, which for me was a huge honor and it felt so wonderful to be singled out for that honor.

Then this morning Aquilah offers me a position as a Moderator!! This absolutely blew me away! This was something that I had always wanted, even though I had never mentioned to anyone on the site before. I personally never thought that I would become a mod, on any forum because I always lost interest after a few weeks of posting.

But I've managed to stay on this forum for almost 6 months now, and everyday it seems that I grow more and more addicted to this place. I am excited about coming here and I learn something new practically everyday, whether is something about makeup or another topic.

Hearty Chicken Noodle Soup

INGREDIENTS

• 12 fresh baby carrots, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
• 4 celery ribs, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
• 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
• 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
• 1/2 teaspoon pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
• 1-1/2 teaspoons mustard seed
• 2 garlic cloves, peeled and halved
• 1-1/4 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast halves
• 1-1/4 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
• 4 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) chicken broth
• 1 package (9 ounces) refrigerated linguine

DIRECTIONS


In a 5-qt. slow cooker, combine the first six ingredients. Place mustard seed and garlic on a double thickness of cheesecloth; bring up corners of cloth and tie with kitchen string to form a bag. Place in slow cooker. Add chicken and broth. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until chicken juices run clear.
Discard spice bag. Remove chicken; cool slightly. Stir linguine into soup; cover and cook for 30 minutes or until tender. Cut chicken into pieces and return to soup; heat through. Yield: 12 servings (3 quarts).

It's strange, I go through these phases every now and then when I become obsessed with something. Well this time around my obsession is finding cheap dupes of higher end eyeshadows. This way I can have all these pretty high end colors on my financial aid budget.

Anyway I am looking for a dupe of MAC's Tilt eyeshadow. I've actually been looking for a dupe of this color for a while now. The closest I have found is Electric Denim by Flirt Cosmetics, but I can't get it because I don't have a Kohl's near me . I've been trying to find a mineral e/s that is similar to Tilt, but I am not that familiar with the vast majority of mineral brands so I'm not doing to well in that department...

Anyway this was just me blowing a little a steam!

My allergies are kicking up today. So basically I feel like crap, but fortunately I was able to email my professors and I got the day off today.

It is not a good idea to class when sitting makes me light headed and dizzy....
