I thought I was the only one! Liquid eyeliner is difficult for me.. it always looks ridigity! I prefer using black eyeshadow with a thin brush to apply it.

my eyebrows haven't matched since i was 12 and decided to pluck them, and did it horribly wrong. they never grew back right. the left one arches way further down the brow, almost where my eye ends. my right one arches more in the middle. i have to correct them every morning with eyebrow powder!!

no amount of styling has fixed them!

i also cannot, for the life of me, use pencil eyeliner without snagging up my whole eye. i'm a dab hand at liquid liner, i just cant use pencil!!

I can't do winged up eyeliner either but nothing else stumps me luckily. Trial and error and lots of practice!

I wing my liner every day, so I guess I fail at varying my liner looks.
I also can't do lipcolor, it's never looked right. And foundation, because I have naturally pinkish cheeks and I never look like my skin is even toned.

I really can't do many looks with dark shadows because I have dark undereye circles the way it is, and the shadows make them look worse. I'm really jealous of people who can wear shades of blacks, navys and greys on their eyes....

Liquid/gel liner looks better than most pencil liners anyway.

I'm crap with pencil liners too. The line always looks kinda ragged and uneven. Not to mention way too thick. I always liked the look of gel and liquid liners better. I go with gel all the way. I find it easier than liquid liner. Not sure why.

haha me too! i have never tried gel but i'm thinking of using it. isn;'t it more durable?

I find that gel eyeliner stays put a lot longer. It's especially great for the waterline cause pencil liner just slides off when it gets when but the gel stays all day so you don't need to keep reapplying. I find it easier to put gel liner on too. I don't like the pen-like wands you get with liquid liner. I make such a mess with them. But there are plenty of different brushes you can use with gel.

i use liquid eyeliner and it's always been easier but it gets messy.
