I went to Icing the other day at the mall near my house to see if they had palettes that I could use for my depotted shadows, and I was really surprised by how pretty some of their makeup was:





It looks so shimmery in person! I can't tell if it's just a shimmery coating or if the eyeshadow really is this shimmery (I haven't tried these palettes out yet, but the ones I emptied to put my depotted shadows in seemed rather pigmented). I hope they go on as great as they look in the palettes!

So have any of you girls tried makeup from Icing or Claires? If so, what did you think?

I've tried icing palletes before; some of them are wonderful and some arent. I dont like those ones that come in the little sets with the mini blush's and mirrors and all that, yes it seems convenient but realisticly the presentation of these little 'kits' make them seem nice; but really they are cheap and come out looking cheap, not very pigmented at all. I am a HUGE fan of icing's lip glosses. I dont have any specific favorites but everytime I do go in there and pick up a few I love all of them; I got this bannana flavored one once, and this litteraly perfect pink gloss. The only problem with icing lip glosses is that they never have the same ones; they re-stock with new items all the time. =[

I've never tried it. What is Icing? Do they sell it at Claire's or is it a separate store?

I've tried them too and I agree with 80sproduct, some are awesome and some...well..just kind of suck

Icing is a separate store that (I guess) is owned by Claire's. They're very similar. I'm not really sure what the difference is. lol.

When I worked there I always got any new eyeshadow they came out with but no Its just a sparkly top coat, its dull after that and I kept hoping and trying all the new ones but it never changed. I love sparkly eyeshadow so it was dissappointing.

to be romantic, Chris bought me 2 icing palettes and I tried it once...they suck..but he doesnt know I dont like it..He never has to know.claires.jpg

I have that second palette. The colors go on WAY to sheer so I use my MAC shadestick in beigeing and then I apply the color so that it actually stays on and shows up on my eyes
