I need a really fab black eyeliner, I want to do a sexy smoldering smokey eye. Any suggestions to what is the best black eyeliner out there?

Well, I don't know if it's the best, but what has worked best for me (and won't break the bank) is Maybelline's Eye Express Liquid Eyeliner. It goes on easily, lasts all day, and defines much more than your typical pencil.

my fave eyeliner is maybelline expert eyes pencil (the red pencils) in velvet black i use them to line the inner rim and outter lash area on my lower lashes its a waterproof pencil that stays on. you have to warm it with a lighter or match but it's worth it. beenusing this liner since i was 12 and i will never use any other for lining my inner rims its the only thing that lasts on me.

Mac Fluidliner in Blitz & Glitz or Blacktrack. I love all the colors of FLuidline I will never turn back, so many fun looks can be achieved with them.

MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack (although they can be a little tricky to smudge, you will have to play with them to figure out how you can achieve this look), and I like Rimmel Kajal eyeliner pencils... They are made out of a soft Kohl and are VERY easy to smudge, but beware, they wear off quickly and can "migrate."

For a sexy smouldering eye look, i'd recommend trying MAC's Smolder Eye Kohl like Marisol suggested. If you want a black eyeliner that will last all day and look perfect then i'd recommend BB Black Gel Eyeliner

I dont' know if this brand is in Candada, but Rimmel Kohl liner in Black is fabulous. Rimmel is sold at Wal-Mart stores.

While MAC Blacktrack fluidline is my favourite black eye liner, if I need to do the sexy smouldering look I reach for my Lancome eye kohl in Noir.

I'm not so fond of Smolder eye kohl. It slides around my face and no matter what ends up everywhere. I use a cheap black eyeliner from the drugstore and it works fine!

Oh how did i forget about Rimmel's Black Kohl Liner! That's so soft and really easy to smudge

Ditto on the Rimmel kohl liners! And I love Revlon colorstay liners, they can smudge a bit if YOU purposely smudge them right after you apply, but after that mine doesn't budge!

Clinique makes some great liners in their newer formulas -- Cream liners and the Kohl ones.
