Brush for applying to waterline?
I have a black HIP creme liner, and it never occurred to me until recently that I should try using it on my waterline! LOL So I was wondering what brush I should use to do that? The brush that comes with it is much too harsh! I'm thinking an angle brush would be too harsh for the waterline, anyway. I plan on getting MAC blacktrack soon, too! What kind of brush should I use with these?

Re: Brush for applying to waterline?
I always just use a pencil for my waterline. But I'm sure someone on here will know!

Re: Brush for applying to waterline?
I can't do any angle brushes on my waterline, just seems to irritate it. Or anything flat/stiff for that matter.
Any very small, flexible, thin wand works... you can even use unused lip liner brushes. Something like MAC's 209 or 210 brush. I got mines in some brush kit and I bet you can find cheaper alternatives at Michaels or other craft stores.

Re: Brush for applying to waterline?
I would suggest a small lip liner bruse an eyeliner brush or youcould even use a fine point paint brush. I have a friend who uses fine point paint brushes...

Re: Brush for applying to waterline?
I never have used a brush to apply el to the waterline, but I have MAC fluidline and use a smudge brush by beauty secrets, a line from Sally beauty supply. It works better than the smashbox and bobbi brown EL brushes I have and cost probably less than 1/3 of what they did. Try Michael's (craft store) too- I have alot of paintbrushes that give stellar performances on MU application.

Re: Brush for applying to waterline?
I use HIP creame liners too, and when I line to my water line I use a very fine artist brush.. That I bought at Michaels... . I threw away the little brush that came in the CL, it didn't work for me at all...

Re: Brush for applying to waterline?
I use my 209 for the waterline and I sometimes dip my eye pencil in fluidline for more intensity!!

Try Chantecaille eyeliner brush, the bristles are really soft and won't irritate your eyes.

Re: Brush for applying to waterline?
I just have a very small Loew Cornell brush thats meant to make extremely small dots. It works really well for very thin lines and it only cost 2 dollars.
