Re: Chanel foundation brush

char's right

i have most of the brushes (missing about 2 or so) and the foundation is pretty good. i use trish mcevoy's the most, though, because it's smaller. chanel's is the biggest i've used and does leave the face a little streaky, but i just go back and blend it a little more. in my opinion, i wouldn't buy it again if i ever lost it or something.

as for the rest of the brushes, i don't reach for them anymore now that i got trish mcevoy's set. they're okay, but not worth the money.

any one in particular you wanted to know about, besides the foundation brush?

Re: Chanel foundation brush

I have the powder brush and it works great with the Double Perfection Compact Powder. It's not the softest brush I've touched but it works well. I'm going to check out Trish Mcevoy's brushes when I'm looking to buy another brush. Thanks for the info Jennifer!

Re: Chanel foundation brush

you're welcome! i love my TM brushes

i don't like the chanel powder brush. it's so rough! i swear sonia kashuk's is softer than TM's and chanel and for $40+ less.

Thanks Jennifer! I saw a Chanel foundation and concealer brush on eBAY for a pretty good price, but couldn't find any reviews. I want a foundation brush; I'll have to see if I can find any from TM.

Re: Chanel foundation brush

The REAL Chanel brushes are cool, the ones directly from Chanel...I've had my set for years...the ones on EBAY, I'd watch out for those...I got a set for one of my cousins for Xmas and some of the brushes are already wearing out.

TM's foundation brush isn't the best out there. i'd seriously go for mac foundation brush or sonia kashuk's. those are my favorite.

Re: Chanel foundation brush

I have a set of the Chanel brushes. I like the Chanel foundation brush as it is floppy/softer than the TM and the Stila foundation brushes that I have. Granted, the Chanel foundation brush is somewhat larger than the other two, I guess I like it as the other two are stiffer. I alternate between the three brushes but seem to grab the Chanel more often than the others. HTH
