I am really into make up lately, even more than usual. I think what's changed is I no longer strive for the no make up make up look and I am now embracing color and shine! I want to have fun with make up before I get too old and my skin fills with cracks and ridges so that I can't wear make up anymore so now I've reverted to the psyche of a 5 year old where less is not more, more is more! I love playing with my make up right before bed, too. It is a strange ritual but one I have practiced for years. I think it's probably because I am about to wash my face anyway so it's a good time to experiment. Who has time to play around with emerald eyeshadow in the morning and have to wash and start over if it doesn't work out? I tried explaining that to my hubby but he just laughs and says "just admit you like looking at yourself!" Well, okay, that too
I am really excited about the new palette from Bobbi Brown, Chic Shimmer, look at those colors! I will be totally ready for Fall with Bobbi’s new Metallics Collection! She's supposed to have a Shimmering Nudes palette, similiar but lighter shades, to the Stonewashed Nudes palette... I want that puppy when it comes out!

I have no metallic eyeshadows and these sound lovely so I may buy some if I can afford to. Best save up.

I've wanted to try her stuff for years. I actually saw her on QVC here recently and fell even more in love. I'll be putting her goodies on my Christmas list for sure.

Those colors on the pallette look awesome! I'm the same way. For years now right before i go to bed, i always play with my makeup so i don't walk around the house looking dumb during the day lol. i always go to the bathroom and wash my face afterwards and then i take a shower so its literally the best time to do different things.
