Hi girls!
I currently use cosmetic wedges I buy at Walgreen's , they are cheap, and I get a buch of them. Does it really make a difference if I get more expensive ones? Does anybody know?

With wedges i doubt it but i cant be sure. I've only ever tried drugstore ones. I rarely use them anyway!

Thanks for replying Laura. I use them when I'm in a hurry to put my foundation. Most the time I use my fingers or brush anyway.

i dont use them often only for maybe bronzer, when i use them for foundation i find that wedges or sponges soak up too much product

You're right. Product goes very fast that way. I use them a little wet, that helps and the foundation becomes less heavy. (I dont like to wear heavy makeup)

I was thinking the same thing, but since I have never used a high end cosmetic wedge, I thought the application would be much better.

I've never tried any high-end wedges. I didn't even realize they made them. I don't particularly like the wedges or sponges at Walgreen's because of the Vitamin E. It seems like the foundation slides right off the applicator instead of absorbing, though I've heard a few comment that they prefer this so as not to waste too much product.

I've only tried drugstore cosmetic wedges but don't like them because they seem to soak up too much foundation, and make my application of foundation more uneven(I don't have the steadiest hand!)Maybe more expensive wedges would work better--e.g.--absorb less foundation/product--but I prefer my fingers or a brush anyway, I think it makes for simpler,neater application, so wouldn't pay extra money for a supposedly higher quality wedge.

i just bought a pack with like 36 wedges for 1.99 and they were label non-latex, i dunno what latex or whatever does but yea.. i saw they were cheap so i just purchased it. anyone knows what happens if the wedges are latex?

I use wedges from cinema secrets, they are really dense & thick...great for foundation, fixing mistakes, etc. MAC also makes wedges, plus some asstd round wedges that I like to use from time to time.

I use the ones from Walmart. They come like 16 in a pack I think. Any beauty supply place would also have them. Target sells them as well. I don't think high end would make a differene. If the higher ends one are thicker then they might though. I think some girls uses brushes because its the thing to do but sponges work great!!!

Lindabear- some people are allergic to latex. Usually they will have a latex and a non-latex version. If you are allergic you will know.

There is definitely a difference I had a MUTer custom purchase me some wedges that are very dense I can wash them in between uses and they don't fall apart. They don't soak up as much product as regular drugstore ones. She is a MA so I'm not sure what kind they are.
