Cosmetique Beauty Club

I found a flyer for this beauty club, where they send you a bunch of cosmetics every month, like a book club or CD club. They aren't big name brands and the pictures look VERY 80's and not in a retro trendy way. I'm kind of curious because you get the first cosmetics set for $5 and then I figure I can just cancel. Has anyone ever tried this sort of thing before?

Re: Cosmetique Beauty Club

My friend tried this, and she seemed to like it. She has allergy problems with everything under the sun though, so she might've ended up being allergic herself. No idea what happened, but she was a member for quite a while.

Never heard of it, but the way you described it doesn't intrigue me very much lol.

Re: Cosmetique Beauty Club

i tried this about ten years ago - from what i remember it was ok but none of the colors worked for me. the quality was ok, about what you would expect.

Re: Cosmetique Beauty Club

Thanks fror all the advice!

I don't know that I need a bunch of new makeup every month, considering that I have so much already. I already know how to choose colors for myself and apply makeup, so the convenience factor doesn't really appeal to me. I'm just kind of curious to see what they send for $5. I was worried that it would be like those big cheap makeup kits that you see in drugstores around the holidays. I think I might call them and ask some questions first. The company is cosmetique.com
