Do you feel guilty when you buy expensive cosmetics?
Yes I have felt guilty whenver I used to buy any expensive makeup item be it MAC e/s or Dior lipstick or whatever makeup when it is expensive.
I keep shouting at my hubby after buying any expensive item to overcome my guilt feeling *lol*
I think there is no thread on this topic!

Re: Do you feel guilty when you buy expensive cosmetics?
Yes, sometimes. My dad usually takes me shopping, yeah, I have no job, I suck, I know lol Anywho, he'll take me out and we'll buy clothes, but we sometimes make a stop at MAC and the total for everything will be more than what was spent on clothes and I kinda cringe sometimes. I can't help it though lol

Re: Do you feel guilty when you buy expensive cosmetics?
not really, because i don't buy huge amounts of it. and i make a pretty decent living so it's not like my husband and i can't afford to eat because i've spent too much money on lip gloss!

Re: Do you feel guilty when you buy expensive cosmetics?
Yep, which is why I buy mostly drugstore products, there are only a few more expensive products that I am willing to spend extra on! (Like UDPP or a foundation that actually matches my skintone.) Why pay $13 for a Mac e/s when I can get a Milani e/s for $3 or a Milani quad for $5?!

I didnt mean that only people who are not well-t-do are only feeling guilty bcos my hubby works in a software company and he earns a good amount but still I feel guilty .
Just like what girl_geek has said why to but MAC when I get a pretty good one for $3!

If nothing else, you can get most of the colors at www.walgreens.com -- that's the only place I've been able to find their quads so far! All the CVS's I've been to only have about half of the single colors and none of the quads, and I have yet to find Milani at a Walgreens although I know they're at some stores...

Yeah, I am a software engineer and hubby has a decent job, so I can definitely afford to spend more on mu. But it does seem wasteful to me to spend more when there are inexpensive products I like just as much! Plus, even though we have some good incomes right now, we want to save up a lot while we can! Some day we are going to have house payments, car payments, kids, all sorts of stuff to pay for so we ought to save while we can! We have both always been frugal by nature though
