Okay, whenever I make large purchases, the tax always frustrates me! Like yesterday, I paid $25ish for tax and I was like, dannng that's a NARS blush! Or when I got my desk for my apt, I was like omg, the tax is a Dior quint! I do this all the time, not only with tax, but any time I'm spending money on something other than makeup.

Do you do this? If not with makeup, then what? And please don't say something responsible like food, or gas. That will only make me feel even more ridiculous lol.

Nah. I buy so much all the time that a dollar is just a dollar to me regardless of what I spend it on.

Sadly, I do it with food! Haha. Like if I go to dinner with my hubby in my head I'm secretly going "Dang, if I would have just stayed in and cooked I could've got the Alice in Wonderland palette, and a couple pigments". Haha. SAD right?

lol!! i do it, but with food. but that's because i'm as much a food junkie as i am makeup! lol i'd be looking at the sushi and have a SERIOUS decision to make beautii!!!

Yeah I do it too with food jaja its just that when you go out to dinner you spend around 20-30 bucks! and you eat like in 30 minutes and thats it! but if you use that money for makeup, makeup lasts a looog time jajaja

I do! I'm in WA, and our state sales tax is high. I hate how much it eats into my budget.

i do that but either with the cost of common candys like "i could get a box of gummy worms with that" or i also tend to think of money in terms of clothing items like "i could get a sweater with that"

I'll be driving out of my way to go to Walgreens and think (damn... I could've ordered this online and saved like $10 which would make me 1/4 closer to getting a new perfume).

Ha ha!!! We're all crazies together! I do it with food and diapers and everytime Shern buys music equipment or beer, I calculate what makeup I could have gotten with it.

I do it with food but not "responsible" food, like eating at home. I'll spend 20-30 bucks going out to eat a few times a week and think "Damn, That's a huge sephora haul!!" lol.
