Drugstore brow powder?

Hello For my eyebrows... I have been darkening them up a little bit (espessially since i dyed my hair dark) and have been using just a regular brow pencil (Rimmel brow pencil in Hazel). I have been reading that brow powders are much more natural looking... so I was thinking of using that instead.

I Just need to know.. does brow powders last as long as a pencil? (when on the product is on the eyebrows, not how long the product lasts before I need to buy more)

Also, could you recommend me a drugstore kind? Unfortunatly, I have no MAC or Sephora type stores around here.. just good ol wally world . I was thinking maybelline ultra brow..

Re: Drugstore brow powder?

NYC has a good brow powder out. I really like using it instead of the pencil.

If all else fails, you could always buy an eye shadow close to the color of your hair, and apply with an angled brush.

I like powders better. They last longer, and are more natural looking, IMO.

I agree with the NYC powder.

Hope you find something that works for you!

Re: Drugstore brow powder?

I LOOOOOOVE my Benefit Browzings, but if you have to go for drugstore type, I vote for the NYC Brow Kit too.

Re: Drugstore brow powder?

I looked at the NYC brow kit.. and the blonde looked really orangish and the brown looked almost too dark! Would the brown show up that dark on my brows as it shows on the package?

Re: Drugstore brow powder?

I'm not sure about that, Mandy. Ardell also makes brow powder that I have seen in CVS in different colors, so that's another option. Their colors might be a little more natural for you.

Re: Drugstore brow powder?

I don't use brow powder but as Kristie suggested, I know that Ardell makes a pretty good one.
