E.L.F. makeup brand, ANYONE?
Hi,
Got a link from a friend today about ELF makeup. Super cheap and looks decent. Has anyone used this before?

Yep! The glosses and eyeshadows are GREAT! Shadows have alot of pigment, glosses aren't sticky. The all over face sticks are a little too shimmery for me, but cute on the lips. The powders are also great, real light weight and remove shine well. Eyeliners I could pass on, mascara is alright. But the shadows and glosses are a must!

All of the eyeshadow brushes are good, my eyeliner brush was a little loose... but it was only a dollar, I taped it The others I have not tried. The eyelash curler is GREAT too.

They're a good cheap brand. Dont expect anything high quality here. Its decent and a great way to try new things such as colors before going higher up.

Re: E.L.F. makeup brand, ANYONE?
I have the custom eyes palette from ELF and I completely love it. They are great eyeshadows and they last all day. I have a complete brush set from ELF, but I only recommend the e/s brush, and the foundation brush. NOT the all over face brush. The blush brush is an "ok" one for $1. I have heard many, many good things about their eyelashes but have never tried them.

I've heard lots about e.l.f and have been tempted to try it out for a while but I'm a bit confused about delivery costs.
It says free shipping on orders over £30 (UK) but how much does it cost for delivery of orders under £30?

Re: E.L.F. makeup brand, ANYONE?
I didn't like anything, except their 4-pan palettes because they will hold MAC, Milani and Jane eyeshadow pans.
I didn't think their eyeshadows had ANY pigment and I didn't like the lip products I tried either. I don't like the angled blush brush, but the eyeshadow brush I got is okay. Overall, I think it's cheap price for cheap quality.

I like the hypershine glosses except for the taste.

Shop Eyes Lips Face
The pencils are good, lip glosses OK, lashes I say yes, but use Duo not the crap glue they come with.
You get what you pay for here, but for some things that is just fine.
Worth checking out!

Re: E.L.F. makeup brand, ANYONE?
ELF sells the best eyelash curler in my opinion. I also like the super glossy lip shines and most of the shadows. the caps always fall off the liners though, so I wouldn't recommend them. their website has some good suggestions for how to use their products to create all kinds of different looks-- oh and the all over cover stick works as a GREAT concealer Beware if you order off the website- the shipping may take awhile...

Re: E.L.F. makeup brand, ANYONE?
I have used a lot of their products, and only like some of them. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their mineral makeup, especially the eyeshadow. I ordered their mineral eyeshadow kit in "expert eyes" and I LOVE it. The eyeshadows are very pretty, lasted a long time (with primer on) and the pencil they came with matched perfectly. I was also surprised at the quality of the brushes that came in the kit - the other brushes I had bought from them were not that great. I like their mineral concealor - I use the fairest shade as a foundation because their "Fair" shade in the foundation is still too dark for me. Their mineral blush in Joy is very pretty as well. As for their other products, the lip products are great, the eyeshadows are OK, and the clear mascara made a good brow gel. Maybe next time I will get an eyelash curler, mine just recently went missing.

Re: E.L.F. makeup brand, ANYONE?
Yes. I have used E.L.F. and it is great. Their products are amazing and for as affordable as they are, they do have a lot of competition. I must be honest though, their brushes are good, but not great or amazing. The large brush smells after you wash it like a weird result of a chemical reaction. Some of the brushes actually slip out of the handles. Other than that, they are definitely a force to be reckoned with and worth purchasing.

Re: E.L.F. makeup brand, ANYONE?
I ordered from in the beginning of June and got my package on the 18th of June. I was missing only one item, they refunded me for that item. Their eye curler is GREAT alot better than the Revlon brand. The blush brush is okay for a dollar, it's not soft as I would of liked it to be and the brush bristles looked fuller and bigger on the web site than it actually does. I like the pencils, good color. The hyper shine gloss is nice, pretty color, smells fine to me, but it doesn't last long but then again no gloss last for long. I love their nail polish, very pretty colors, you have to put more then one coat on to get good color pay-off. Overall their cosmetics were alot better than what I thought they'd be since they're only $1. I would get more stuff from them, but not online, I need to find a store that carries them.
