Re: Estee Lauder Primer?
Most people here use the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer and the Laura Mercier primer. I have the Smashbox and I really like the feel of it on my face. Makes my foundation glide on and keeps things in place.

Re: Estee Lauder Primer?
I also have the Smashbox one... I will check out the LM one once the Smashbox one I have is done... I want to see if it is any better, bc I have heard so much about it...
No luck on the EL one though, I haven't tried it...

MacGoddess: I've tried the LM one and ehh its ok :/
I prefer the Smashbox one. It seems a bit thicker in texture.

Re: Estee Lauder Primer?
Many ladies here use Smashbox or LM. You can try to get samples so you get to decide which one to go with before you pay the full price.

Really? Hmm... Did you find that it would smooth your skin any more than the Smashbox one? My skin is pretty smooth, but I would like to find something that would smooth over larger pores mainly on the apples of my cheeks...
The Smashbox Primer is ok at that, but I thought maybe the LM would be better...

MACGoddes: I have really large pores too!! Ugh I hate them!! I used the Prescriptives Pore Filler and OMG it worked so well! I don't put it all over my face though, just cheeks, nose, and the space between my eyes.

Re: Estee Lauder Primer?
Hi!!
Newb here!
I have HUGE pores (ARRGHH!!!) I'm on Retin-A Micro due to some sebaceous cysts I had, and I heard it's supposed to reduce the appearance of pores. I guess I haven't been on it long enough because no such luck yet. They seem to be less clogged, but now there are these GAPING holes!!
I got the Clinique Pore Perfector, and it's o.k., but my skin is a bit flaky due to the Retin-A, and the Clinique just seems to dry out those areas and make it look worse.
I was looking trying to find the Prescriptives Pore Filler you talked about, but I can't seem to find it on the Prescriptives site. Can you tell me where you got it and what it does for you? I'm psyched I might be able to actually conceal these monstrosities! LOL!
Thanks!

Re: Estee Lauder Primer?
welcome to MUT, barbiegal!
i've never tried EL, but i currently use LM's. i think it's breaking me out, though, which i've heard happens to A LOT of girls, so i've stopped using it for now to see if that's what's caused me to break out. i'm gonna try smashbox, though, or english ideas.
