Hi,

I am new to this forum and I am not sure if this is where I should post this. My problem is I am not very good at applying makeup to my eyes and was wondering if someone could tell me how they would apply it to my eyes. I have enclosed a pic with my eyes totally makeup free sorry it looks so scary. Usually I just put some brown eyeliner on the top and halfway on the bottom. I can't seem to make my eyes look better whenever I apply the makeup my eyes just look smaller. You see how you cant see the lid above my eyes everything just seems to make them look dark and sunk in. I would like a real sexy smultry eye makeup that would make them stand out and look hot if thats possible. I know it can be done cause I had a makeup artist do my eyes once and she made me look awesome. There was not enough time to ask her how to do it though. I thought about going to the mall and getting them to do it. Do you have any recommendations where I could go to learn how to do it. Thank you for your help and if you give me some suggestions I will try them and post my results.

You could try MAC!

You'll probably want to wear light colors on your lid and crease to bring them out more. hth!

Beautiful eyes!

Hm...since your lid is prominent in your inner corner and disappears more at the outer corner, I would go past the crease for the outer corner to balance things out. And some mascara or a great pair of false lashes, though your lashes look pretty long.

Oh wow thank you sooo much. Thats so cool how did you do that? You know I have never really worn mascara I hate washing it off at night. That pick has really made me want to try it or the false eyelashes. It looks like you also put some eyeshadow. Is that like a grey color? I want to try everything you did that looks sooo much better.

I never really thought about needing to balance my eyes out Aplsmash but I totally see what you are talking about. All my life I have always put the eyeliner on thicker on the outside corner cause I thought it looked better now I see why I did that. I also see that I need to pluck my eyebrows a little more I am just chicken. I have to go get one of those templates or something. I agree with aplsmash about the shadow going a lil past your eyes like in her pic. and to make your actual eyes stand out more give your brows a nice arch. It would really lighten up the eye area and make your eyes pop more. & if you like color, instead of brown liner at the bottom use a color eyeshadow in it. You can make it a soft line or bold. It gives a lil pop of color rather than working hard to blend shadows on the top lid which can be hard if youve never used lotsa eye makeup

I agree about the brows. The eye area will open up more.
