Eyeshadow wash
Sort of a poll
1. What eyeshadow do you use most as a wash (lashes to brow) 2. Favorite crease shadow to go with that 3. Do you have others you use as a wash and what are they? I will not answer cause I don't have 1 yet ![]()

Re: Eyeshadow wash
Well until recently I was pretty neutral I would use a light beige all over then would use a dark brown for my crease & possibly a med brown on lid. As of right now its still my go to in a pinch & is still my fav because its easy,it matches everything & when I get up for work & dont feel like fooling around with decisions I grab for those .
I dont have any particular brand or color just what ever neutrals I happen to have on hand at the time. |

Re: Eyeshadow wash
My fave shadow to use as a wash is MAC Vanilla Pigment. However, I don't use it every day, and when I do, I usually don't use a crease or lid shade with it, just some liner.

Re: Eyeshadow wash
For a wash I've mostly been using Mac Pigment in Provence or Stila's Kitten.
As far as the shadows....don't even ask about the crease. It's like a foreign language to me right now!!

Re: Eyeshadow wash
Well, I used to only use Cafe on the lid, highlighted with Vanilla, and then creased with Chocolate...but, I've been itching to do different colors...I'm kind of addicted to Orange/Green combo...
Something I learned (thanks to my fave artist Josh at MAC) is not to be afraid of color. There is no such thing as a bad color for anyone...you just have to apply it right. ![]() |

Re: Eyeshadow wash
era is a good wash color for me, b/c it is almost an exact match to my skintone. i sometimes use amber lights also(very lightly with the 224 brush). i use several colors for my crease color it just depends on what colors i am wearing. if i am wearing blue it will be the darker blue, green a darker green or i might mix colors. charcoal brown is a pretty crease color, i also use carbon or black tied.

Re: Eyeshadow wash
I like to use Clinique Sunkissed, WetnWild Fine Wink, WetnWild All Over Shimmer....I actually have a lot of light shadows I use for this! I usually wear them alone or with a little brown liner.
