18 Foundation Brushes

For those who wear any type of foundation, what kind of foundation brushes do you own and how many?
I own 2 foundation brushes and both are by MAC.

Re: Foundation Brushes

For my Lauress, EDM and BE mineral makeup, I use the MAC 182

For my Monave and sometimes Pureluxe mineral foundation, I use the flat-top buffer brush that came along with my Monave kit. It works wonders with these 2 brands that do not apply well with a buffer brush.

Re: Foundation Brushes

I have a Chanel foundation brush, but I don't really like it all that well. It takes forever to blend if I use it!

Re: Foundation Brushes

I have also heard that Lancome's foundation brush is good. I haven't used it myself though.

Re: Foundation Brushes

I have 2 foundation brushes - Rucci (which I seldom use - works better for cream blush) and Smashbox - I only use foundation brushes when I need heavier coverage or else I prefer to use a sponge.

Re: Foundation Brushes

For liquid foundations I have 2TM brushes and one Japonesque and one from art store. I love TM and japonesque one a lot, cuase they are really soft, but OMG it is a real nightmare to clean them. I wash them after each use and always have huge problems with them. The art store one is really nice to,amazingly easy to clean, the only down side is,that the bristle ends are a bit rough,so poking yourself with the end of brush/bristles is not so pleasant. I started using MAC 187 to buff my fondation in and it works miracles, really airbrushed look.

Re: Foundation Brushes

For mmu the MAC 182, for normal liquid foundation MAC 187 or the foundation brush from Artdeco.
