Foundation help
I'm on the search for a good foundation. I have oily skin that is very sensitive. I want something thats not too heavy because I don't really care for the "made up" look. I want something thats gives me glowy natural flawless looking skin. I was breaking out really bad so I stopped wearing anything other than sunscreen for months, but I think I'm ready again.
Any suggestions? |

Re: Foundation help
Maybe you should go with a tinted moisturiser. Try Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown or Prescriptives Traceles..

Re: Foundation help
I would recommend either a tinted moisturizer that is oil free, Bare Minerals/mineral foundation, or maybe MAC's Studio Tech foundation or Studio Fix...

Re: Foundation help
I was gonna recommend Estee Lauder Double Wear but i see that you want light coverage so forget about that one! A few of the girls on here love Chantecaille Future Skin but its pricey so i'm not sure if you'd be willing to spend that kind of money. If you could try a sample first it would be cool!

Re: Foundation help
Have you tried Clinique or Aloette? I too have oily skin and am acne prone and very sensitive. The Aloette products are aloe based. Just a suggestion.

Re: Foundation help
Ok guys. I am desperate for help, he he. I am 2 hours away (with a 3 year old daughter at home with me) from a store that sells prescriptives. Therefore unable to get a match for a foundation. I need your help in picking a color for the Flawless line.
In Clinique I wear: 05 Nuetral Superfit Foundation, or 08 Stay Nuetral Stay True Matte Foundation In Lancome I wear: Bisque 0 Tiente Idole Foundation I guess I'm light/medium skin tone. Anyone???? Last edited by Kelly : 11-16-2005 at 12:55 PM. |

Re: Foundation help
department stores usually cost more than drugstores because they actually have people sitting out there testing out the colors for you to try to make it perfect. i think if you willing to fork out the money, you should go get your money's worth by letting them find the perfect match.
btw, for prescriptive, they give you a week worth of free sample for the foundation if you ask for it. sometimes you try something at the store and you go home and it looks completely different. i'd ask for the sample and give it a try for a week to make sure. |

Re: Foundation help
I really like my Prescriptives Custom Blend. They custom make it for you and you can even choose what type of coverage you want.
