Graduation makeup!
ill be graduating soon and im gonna be wearing a black halter dress with gold accents.. can you guys suggest what color of eye shadow i can use? thanks so much!

My loony self would probably wear goldish colors to bring out the accents in the dress... Nothing bold though, more likely muted colors... There's a LE quad Mary Kay had like two years ago that would be great if that was the look you went for... Are you trying to use something you already have? Any colors you were already thinking of possibly wearing?

I would suggest something natural/neautral. You want your beauty to stand out not your make-up. I agree with Aquilah in wearing some goldish color eye shadow and maybe a berry or nude lip.

With black and gold, you can pretty much get away with anything as far as makeup. Jennifer Aniston wears a lot of black (for events, anyway) and always looks radiant, so maybe take a look at what she does. Lots of warm, shimmery neutrals, I think.

I'd go for something more neutral, like Marisol said. Maybe a goldish tone on the lid and a brown in the crease with a neutral lip color and a soft pink blush.

I think a shimmery gold on the lid and a shimmery brown in the crease, with maybe some black eyeliner (if you're not going to cry like I did). Then some soft pink blush, and a pretty light pink lippie!

Thanks Zombies!! I did a greyish blue smokey eye for my graduation, but I kept everything else very light.
