Graphical makeup to realistic makeup!
So I want to recreate a graphical character...but the eye makeup seems a little weird to convert to real life without it looking stupid on me.
Should I just wear false eyelashes and do a smokey eye look? Or go for a more dramatic look like this one:   ?

I think you should go with false lashes and pretty heavy eyeliner ( on top lid ). The girl in the picture totally pulls it off. I'm a little lost on the situation, though. Graphical character? Do you plan on wearing this MU out and about?

I'd say go with cardboardboxeds' advice, she is the awesomest at doing these types of looks. Have you tried doing a google search? Good luck, and don't forget to post a FOTD if you pull the look off!

I say do really clean and thick liner. False lashes...maybe draw a few on too. Definitely Green contacts.
