so when it gets scorching like it is in california right now what do you do with your makeup routine to cope? do you change it up a bit, or do you forgo putting it on altogether?

in the hot months i usually just do chapstick and if i am feeling really fancy than mascara

I usually make a tinted moisturizer out of my mmu and then stick to a gel blush and minimal mu all around. There's nothing worse than a "melting face"

I go a little lighter on the foundation and make sure it's a longwear foundation. That's about the only changes I make! lol!

It's brutal these past days... high 90s all week, ugh!

I haven't changed my routine so far. I've stopped wearing foundation for months now and it has worked better for me. I might go for more simpler looks though, because I see a lot of girls wearing near to nothing on their faces lately and I feel overly-done. Ha. Except for when I know it's time for Myspace Pictures (taking pictures that you know will end up on Myspaz)... yeah, full face bah ha.

I'd say a light moisturizer, with a sheer foundation (complexion permitting of course), and waterproof eyeliner.

I find myself shifting from liquid foundation to powder when it gets hot. However, that's the only change I make. Melting doesn't really occur much.

i stock on water and blot sheets. i go heavier on the mattifying powder.

I live in hot, muggy, humid Alabama and I still do my full face! The only thing that I really do different is use a lighter moisturizer and I use waterproof mascara.

I work hard on my skin all winter and spring so that all I need during hotter months is a tinted moisturizer, a single like wash of an eyeshadow, liner, mascara, and a light lipgloss. Nothing heavy at all!

i feel for all the ladies who live in hot and humid climates! it's rough for me and i don't even wear any makeup. my forehead sweats like a pig when it's hot so i guess it's a good thing i'm a guy. thanks for all the responses!

If I'm actually in the mood, lipgloss, an eyeshadow or two, mascara, liner & of course, sunscreen. The highest it's been since I've lived here is low 90's. Probably when the heat starts really coming I wont wear much of anything.

I havent wore foundation in months.

I'm dying to test out the sweatproof/smudgeproof/spf-ness of the Dior Forever Flawless, but it's so friggin hot at night, that I can't sleep and I have forgone makeup in the morning for extra minutes of sleep and doing minimal makeup at my air conditioned desk.
Tomorrow though, I am putting it to the test!!! hahaha

i tend to go very minium.
like concealer if i need it on zits, only powder on that area that i used the concealer at.
then blush or bronzer. curly my lashes and chapstick or lipgloss or whatever.

or if its really horrific, a cheek stain and chapstick.

I do my full face, but a lot of my work is in an industry where it is all about looks so I kinda have to. It gets extremely hot and humid here but Iworry more about my hair in the weather than my makeup. I have curly hair and it is a beast in the summer!
