This frustrates me the most. I have oily skin so my makeup tends to ruin quite fast. I don't use a foundation, but when I want a whole face done I just apply Tinted Moisturizer. The moisturizer is oil-free and my eye-makeup ruins pretty quickly as well so I use a primer on my lids before I apply eyeshadow. But, this morning after an hour of putting on my makeup, it still feels greasy and looks greasy too!!! What am I doing wrong? Help, please!!

Yeah that's what i thought of to do next, i don't need alot of coverage, but i guess i need something to stop my makeup from ruining.

TMs have a tendency of producing an oily look. If I was you, I'd lean toward a powder foundation or even mineral makeup.

Also, what eye primer are you using?

So ur suggesting that I actaully used foundation? I've heard much about MMU, but never tried it. I'll look around at different stores. I use the regular Clinique face primer for my lids.

Sounds like you might want to try UDPP on your lids. It works wonders! lol.

You don't have to wear foundation if you don't want to. It's just that when I had oily skin (when I was younger) powder foundation seemed to work better at controlling oilies than powders did. But that's entirely up to you.

I use TM and even though my skin isnt very oily it does give me a bit of an oily look. I bought myself a powder compact that i carry and use it on my forehead and nose.

How about trying Smashbox Photo Finish under your TM? I have oily skin and use it under my MAC SFF and it really helps control the shine. Maybe it will help you too.

I've never used TM before so I really can't give you an informed opinion but I say it's worth a try.

umm idk about that but for me personally it doesnt clog my pores plus i only put some where i need it like my nose and forehead.

MAC MATTE (its in a a small tube its clear gel,its a mattifying primer) put that all over you instantly feel it working.

after you put all your makeup on the ue MAC BLOT (LOOSE) dust a good amount allover.

and the last thing is an option purschase MODEL IN A BOTTLE (MODELINABOTTLE.COM) AND USE 2-3 SPRAYS! and voila! SHINE FREE

Use a loose powder brush and generously brush your entire face with cornstarch before applying your makeup. Oil free moisturizers contain oil!! Read the label!!! You may want to use them sparingly during the summer months.. I did also hear good things about MAC matte and MAC blot, But it's not in my budget these days..

I have oily skin as well.. so this is what i do. I use milk of magnesia on the oily areas. Then i use Laura Mercier oil free primer, then the oil free tinted moisturizer. Last i use Bare escuentals mineral veil on top of the TM. I only had to blot once. THis truly works especially in th hot summer.
