Help with the pale and interesting look...

Ok guys I need your help.

over the summer I've had a bit of an addiction to bronzer but now that it's autumn and the tan has well and truly faded, my bronzers are just looking more and more orangy on me!

The problem is though that my face is a lot paler than my body at the moment, as is the case due to exfoliating more etc on your face so you lose colour quicker.

So I'm wanting to embrace a paler look but I can't seem to part with my beloved bronzer just to make me look a bit more, well, alive! lol! I would be most grateful if you could recommend a bronzer that is neither orange or pink based but that will give me the slightest bit of natural colour without looking overdone on dark winder days. It also needs to be a brand that is accessible in the UK.

I know it's a tall order ladies but I'd be so so grateful for your help!!

Re: Help with the pale and interesting look...

I'm pale and I love Wet n' Wild's bronzer in Bali Bronze. I'm not sure it's available in the UK, though?

The Special Issue Fall 2006 InStyle magazine suggests Bourjois pressed powder in Apricot as a bronzer for fair complexions ("...for blondes and redheads who want a little glow but don't want to look overdone."). I think you get Bourjois in the UK, so maybe try that?

Hope that helps some...I know it's hard to find a good bronzer for pale skin.

Replace bronzer with pink blush or other shades of blush that will suit you and give your face some color.

That's what I was going to suggest, I am super pale and have never even tried bronzer because I can tell just by looking at the bronzers that they're all about 10 shades too dark for me! lol But a light pink or peach blush looks awesome on my skin and gives me that needed bit of color!

Re: Help with the pale and interesting look...

Thanks for your help ladies! I tried just using a light pink blusher last night without any bronzer and I just looked washed out and ill lol! I'm using a Rimmel bronzer in Sun Bronze and it's not as pigmented as my others so it just gives me a light dusting of colour - think I'm just gonna keep going with that until the dead of winter he he!
