Help with wedding makeup for pictures.

As some of you know, my eldest is getting married next month. My wife is doing her own makeup for the wedding and is concerned that her concealer may show up in the pictures. Any suggestion on a good concealer that won't show up in the flash pictures? If you need more information about what foundation she will be wearing etc. ask and I will find out. Thanks!!!

Re: Help with wedding makeup for pictures.

i use bobbi brown's concealer and it doesn't show up in pictures at all. you can't tell even when you're up close. however, it's really important to get the right match otherwise it not only looks really weird but everyone can tell that you're wearing the wrong shade of concealer. i suggest going into a department store and getting matched to be sure.

Can you borrow a digital camera to test out concealers?

Re: Help with wedding makeup for pictures.

Basically, I think you want to avoid anything with physical sunblocks in it - titanium dioxide or zinc oxide, for instance. Since those can reflect back flash in photos.

Def. get a perfect match - just makes sense for all of us, all the time!

congrats on your family expanding - happy wedding wishes!

Re: Help with wedding makeup for pictures.

I think i would test out with a digital camera too. I HAVE heard that one shade too dark is better for concealer than one shade too light, because it shows up less in photos.

I'd just play around with a digital camera and see whether it is showing up or not.
