I found a blush I like better than Milani Luminous!
I really like Milani Luminous because it is such a great peachy-pink color that looks great on my fair skin. However, I've never really liked how it has so much golden shimmer -- my skin is very oily and shiney so I certainly don't need extra shimmer on my face!
But I had almost forgotten that I bought Maybelline Expertwear blush in Rose Silk awhile back -- somehow it got stored with all my old, poor-quality drugstore e/s that I rarely use now. So I tried it a few days ago, and I love it! It is a very similar peachy-pink color as Luminous, and is light enough that it looks good on my very pale skin (but also dark enough to give some color!). And unlike Luminous, it isn't very shimmery, so I think it looks a lot better on my shiney skin! Without the golden shimmer, Rose Silk does seem to look a tad more cool than Luminous, but it still has the same basic peachy-pink color. Just thought I'd let you know, in case anyone else also likes the color of Luminous but not the shimmer

lol!! thats what happens to me i have 4 train cases full of makeup 2 with high end makeup, 1 my everyday drugstore makeup and the 4th other makeup i hardly use and once in a while i'll go "shopping" in my own cases and "discover" stuff!!! lol!!! its fun!!!

Glad you found something you like! I know how hard it is to find the right blush! It's either too light or too dark... Ugh! I'm happy you found something!

That rose silk blush always catches my eye when I go to target. I'm in the same situation you were in about the whole too oily and shimmery thing, maybe I'll give it a try!

thx u so much! my walgreens doesnt carry milani and i have been lemming luminous forever!! i will definitely check out the Maybelline one

I' m glad you found something that you like. I love Milani Luminous but I don' t wear in the summer bc it' s way too shimmery for my combo/oily skin. Thanks for sharing w. us, I will definitely check that one out!
