I have acne and blemishes that I'm getting rid of but I want to get a makeup that works out for me, something that gives my skin a really good coverage without leaving it all greasy. I hate the feeling u get with some foundations that don't get absorbed by the skin, that greasy feeling is horrible! I want to know about a concealer with great coverage, a foundation that my skin would absorb and whichever u think is better, loose or pressed powder for me. Please help me!

Re: I need help please!
I really like the concealer by covergirl - it has a blue lid. It'd given the best coverage of all the ones I've tried.
As for foundation, I'm not really sure what I'd recommend, I'm still looking myself! but, my favourite would probably be lancome colour ideal

I like Estee Lauder Doublewear, but that's because I love the dewy look it gives me.
If you want something a little more matte that blends in well with the skin (but offers good coverage), I'd recommend Revlon Colorstay (liquid or minerals depending on whether you prefer liquid or powder). Also, I absolutely love Revlon Colorstay's concealers!

Re: I need help please!
Another vote for Revlon Colorstay foundation!! They have a formula for oily and normal/combo skin. I think this foundation helped tame my acne, actually...My face now looks pretty smooth except for occasional flare-ups. You can't even feel this foundation on IMO. It lasts all day and doesn't get greasy, but if you have dry skin like me during winter time, you would have to really moisturize well. In the summer, a light application would still give you good coverage and maybe just use a concealer where you need more. I've also tried Revlon's colorstay one for summer...I forget what the exact name is, but it's supposed to be sweatproof and waterproof...I like that one too because it's not greasy at all and doesn't cause breakouts. HTH!!

Re: I need help please!
this is what i do.
i use a concealer just on the zits (mac has great ones or benefit's boi-ing which can also be used under eyes and to cover up redness), then just add a loose or pressed powder. then your skin can still breath since it wont have foundation covering it (epseically since its getting warmer) and your zits are covered up. |

Re: I need help please!
Hey
Ive tried so many things aswell.. I have normal/combo skin but in the summer I hate the extra residue on my skin especially after foundation, Ive really been loving Smashbox's Anti Shine, it's 27.00 and you only need a little bit.. its a liquid and kind of feels like powder after putting it on. I love to use mineral powder as a concealer since it tames the shine and oily feeling aswell.. oh and blotting papers is a must to keep around ! ![]() |

Do you have oily skin? If so, try Makeup Forever's Mat+ Foundation.

Re: I need help please!
I use Dermablend under my eyes and L'Oreal True Match foundation all over. I never use 'pressed powder' only loose. Uhmm...if you really want a foundation that'll dry or 'absorb into your skin' I'd recommend Maybelline's Silky Superstay 16hr Foundation. Only use the foundation NOT the white part. That stuff dries so well you'll think you put your loose powder over it already. It's awesome!

Re: I need help please!
I have oily, acne-prone skin myself and I use CHANEL's Vitalumiere Concealer or Benefit's Erase Paste. I stick with the CHANEL for all-day wear because the Erase Paste tends to get a little oily throughout the day. I also use CHANEL's Mat Lumiere Foundation or Makeup Forever's Matte Velvet Foundation...both have good coverage and a natural looking finish. Finally, I finish off with CHANEL's Poudre Christalline (a translucent powder with crystal flecks for a luminous, glowy finish) or Makeup Forever's Super Matte Loose Powder.
