I am going out with this guy for the first time (I met him online) tonight and I'm trying to decide on how to do my makeup. I've already given him the heads up about my makeup obsession, lol Of course he's seen tons of pics of me. Anyway, I love wearing blues, greens, any colors pretty much, but I don't want to overdo it. I wanted to try black tied, carbon, old gold pigment, UD Mildew (it's a green, something like MAC Humid) and Prestige's "Aspen" (another green). Maybe that will be too much. Otherwise, I'll have to stick with neutrals. What do you guys think?

well, it depends where you guys are going. if you're going out to dinner and dancing, i say go for smokey eye and nude lips. but if it's casual like movies, then i would go for neutrals.

Yeah, we're going to see The Omen and probably will get a bite to eat. I'll do the neutrals. I need to figure out which ones, lol The colors I have are:

Amber Lights
Naked Lunch
Woodwinked
Embark
Girlie
Espresso
Patina
Soba
Paradisco(is that a neutral? LOL)
Expensive Pink (not sure about this one either!)

Milani
Antique Gold (this is one of my favorite eye shadows EVER!)
Java Bean
Spice

Those are about all the neutrals I have.

whatever u do don't put alot of mu on. remember "less is more"
in one of the fashion mags that i read, it said that one of guys
pet peeves was that women wear too much makeup. they prefer the natural look, just enough to show a woman's beauty.

hmm i would go for a gold color and some black in the outer v than a highliter on the center of the lid and on the browbone (maybe a beige/gold)

I would go with a neutral palette. I love Milani's Antique Gold too! How about Antique Gold on the lid, Embark in the Crease and outer v and Dip Down Brown Fluidline. I'm not sure which color for the brow though. Then you can use a nice flirty color on the lips and just a subtle flush of blush on the cheeks.

That's a good idea! I don't have dip down yet though, but I'm sure I can get away with Blacktrack or Nehru eye shadow as a liner.

I'll probably wear either Beaux lustreglass or Ornamental.

What about Amber Lights on the inner third of the eye, Antique Gold on the middle third, and Java Bean on the outer third and crease?
