I am getting married on May 26, 2007, and i need advise on what i should do with my make up. I know that i want my eyes to me my focus. My wedding colors are purple, turquoise and pink. My dress is off white with gold lace. I am wearing a really pretty pink freshwater pearl neckalace my mom is making me. I will post pics of it when its done. Beautiful dress..i was thinknig maybe a washed-out gold and some soft pearl eyeshadow...maybe some golden eyeliner on the upper and lower lashline..and black mascara..

Or you could go with some really dark eyeshadow like the model in the pic but personally id prefer my first suggestion as it more of a "fresh face"...

Thanks all for the feedback! I like the idea to its actually really close to what i had in mind. But i was thinking on putting a little blit on mauve in there as a contour color. If anybody can suggest the products to use i would appreciate it also. Price not an issue. Especially mascara looking for something that works really good. I love my eyelashes so i want them to be perfect.

I would suggest you go to MAC and get some eyeshadows...

nylon, ricepaper, gorgeous gold..(those might be good for gold colored e/s)...


vanilla, rite of spring, phloof..(might be good for pearl e/s)

Lancome hypnose mascara, dior maximeyes, helena rubinstein surrealist mascara,....you could also get some falsh eyelash singles and use them on the outer halfs of your eyes..

My favorite mauve-y shadow is from Biotherm. I think it's #315, but I'm not sure...I'll check when I get home.

Oh my that is such a gorgeous dress! I would suggest going to mac and showing them the colors you are using as well as the dress so they can recommned something, someone might be able to come to your house to do your makeup. When my friend got married, she went to a counter and got one of the workers to come out to her house and do her makeup.
