Hi, all!

So I have a thread asking all you wonderful girls about MAC lipstick. Thanks to you guys, I was able to compile a list of lipsticks to try on at MAC. Now, I have a question: Can you pick a LE lipstick for the free lippies with back to MAC?

You can pick a LE lipstick with B2M as long as it isn't a special packaging... For example, the Catherine Deneuve lipsticks had a colored lipstick case IIRC, I think the part that is usually silver was a Champagne color. Those l/s were NOT available for B2M, and also the Viva Glam l/s are not available for B2M.

Back to MAC is one way of recycling....M·A·C accepts returns of its primary packaging through the Back to M·A·C Program. By returning six [6] M·A·C primary packaging containers to a M·A·C counter or M·A·C Cosmetics Online, you receive a free M·A·C Lipstick of your choice. Hope this helps...

i heard on here awhile ago (forgot who said it) that soon mac won't include the LE lipsticks anymore in the program, but not sure how true that is!

I remember that but I think they meant the ones in the special packaging. Maybe a MAC employee could let us know whats up.

not a MAC employee but yep it's just the ones in the special packaging like from the CD ICON collection that you can't get with B2M

Ok so if we return 6 empty lipsticks we get 1 right?is this for e/s too?

it can be any plastic of glass mac products that you can return. basically anything except for wood pencils.

so the skincare stuff like the wipes, mascara tubes, e/s pots... so any mix of 6 containers. and they don't even have to be empty, it could just be a color that you don't like anymore and know you won't use, save that as a B2M.

but no, we do not do b2m for any of the special packaged lipsticks.

I was told also that the only thing out of everything they sale that can not be BAC2MAC is the regular lip pencils and eyeliners cause they are wood.
