Lipstick & SOF

Does lipstick all ready have a "Sun Protective Factor" in it, or should I keep using a lip moisturizer under it that has an SPF in it?

Re: Lipstick & SOF

welcome to MuT!

unless it says on the packaging/product, they don't automatically, although it'd be nice definitely wear SPF on your lips before any lip product! lips can get skin cancer, as well.

Re: Lipstick & SOF

Hi, welcome to Mut. I would check if your lippy has SPF in it,otherwise you could use a seperate cream to protect your lips.I think most lipsticks would have a SPF,especially the better brands.
