M.A.C help!!!!! im going crazy!

lately, i`ve been obsessed with the 187 brush! i hear such good things about it! like when you use it to apply the studiofix or the mineralized skinfinish, it'll look so good! i heard so much raves... as for applying studifix with it, they say that it will look awesome as compared to with a sponge.. etcetc..

that`s why im going CRAZY with it! i want it i want it i want it! but to me, it`s so expensive and i was wondering does it make MUCH of a difference?

i have 300 bucks next month to spend on mac... im thinking of getting

mineralize skinfinish
studiofix ( 2 )
studiofix fluid
studio stick
fluidline( black track )

this all adds up just nicely to 300 with a little spare change.
( the reason im getting 2 studiofix is because i use it up REAL FAST )

so how??????? should i get the 187 brush? im like so so stuck

Re: M.A.C help!!!!! im going crazy!

well if u love it that much, then just get 1 studio fix, then next month u can buy another studio fix. U are not using up all 1 bottle of foundation in 1 month are u? To me, the brush is awesome but it is not a must-have. The only thing about the brush that i really like is that it feels really nice to the skin while u apply ur foundation with it, but the outcome of the application is still the same if i were to appliy my foundation with another foundation brush (nice smooth looking skin). PLus, another plus thing about the brush is that it is versatile, it could be used to apply blush, powder...ect but I don't like using one same brush for too many different applications anyway. I have the brush but I still usually use antoher brush to apply my blush and powder. SO yea, if you are like me, then u don't have to get the brush. It's not a must have if you talking about the end result of ur make-up application. But if u like a little luxurious feeling while u apply ur make-up, then you can get the brush.

Re: M.A.C help!!!!! im going crazy!

I think the 187 is really really woth getting! I have two and don't regret spending so much on them because they're great - I'm very pale and with a 187 I can apply any powder blush I like and just get a nice, soft flush. Also, it's awesome for shimmery products like MSFs (though I have to say for the natural MSFs it didn't provide enough coverage, probably because their hair is so soft). It's also good for applying cream blushes in a natural manner and yes, also great for liquid foundation and for Studio Fix powder - this has never looked so natural on me when I used any other sponge or brush. Oh, and I think you might need less product using a 187 with your Studio Fix so I'd restrict myself to one of these and get the brush instead of the second

Re: M.A.C help!!!!! im going crazy!

i bought my 187 brush on ebay for $27 including shipping, AFTER i paid full price for the 188 brush at the MAC counter, im very pleased with both but i wish i had shopped ebay for the 188!

i agree that i think if you leave off a couple of the studio fixs, that'll give you room to get the brush, and i do use LESS product with the brush application

Re: M.A.C help!!!!! im going crazy!

I agree with the others - you can't possibly need all that Studio Fix! Splash on a brush and you will use less product anyway. I really wish I had $300 to spend, even though I'm in the UK tehe.

I totally understand your situation and I still haven't gotten the brush cuz everytime I go to MAC I keep on buying eyeshadow or other stuff with all my money! But from what I hear everybody loves this brush and it is worth getting, try ebay!

I would get the 187 and this way, you won't use up your studio fix fast! With the 187, it takes me about a year to finish one compact. Trust us, it's the BEST investment of your makeup life!
