Re: MAC 187 Vs 190 Foundation Brush
I have both and use them for different things. I have the 190 and use it for my foundation. I feel that it gives me even coverage and helps in making my skin look flawless, when its really far from it. The #187 I use for blushes, mainly mineral skinfinishes. I like it because I can buff the product in. I have heard that some people use the 187 for foundation. I think it just may be your personal preference.

i agree with Marisol. people's faces are diff. sizes, and people's likes are diff. as well.. so keep personal factors in mind when making your decision

Re: MAC 187 Vs 190 Foundation Brush
people have their preferences with what they like to use. 190 can be used with liquid and cream foundations. the 187 can be used with basically everything: liquid, cream, powder, blushes, MSFs.
the 190 lays down the foundation and the 187 buffs in products.

Re: MAC 187 Vs 190 Foundation Brush
buffing is when you use your brush in a circular motion to kind of rub in the foundation so that you have nice coverage and an airbrush finish

Thanks Liz! Can only sinthetic brushes be used to do that or also some natural ones?

i'm sure both. it's also a circular shape, unlike most foundation brushes, so it's much easier to buff in.
i love using both. i used to use a foundation brush, but now i use 187 for a flawless, airbrushed look

Re: MAC 187 Vs 190 Foundation Brush
I've tried both a foundation brush (from Smashbox) and the 187, and i prefer the 187 for applying my foundation. It gives me a more flawless finish and i use less foundation.
I think it's about personal preference - with the look you are after and the brush you feel more comfortable with.

I have both. I use the 190 for liquid foundation, and 187 for my mineral veil

Re: MAC 187 Vs 190 Foundation Brush
would highly recommend the 180 for any liquid foundation, but the 187 for any loose powder foundation ^_^

Re: MAC 187 Vs 190 Foundation Brush
I would think that the #187 wouldn't be heavy/dense enough for liquids...am I wrong? Dp you all pour liquid onto hand and then dip brush into foundation or dot foundation onto face and then blend/buff?

I am wondering this too. I only have the Flirt Skunk brush so far, but am seriously considering the 187 and if it's anything like the flirt brush, I would worry using it with foundation (especially after paying $42 for it!)
