MAC brushes for definitioin
Hi guys
Can anybody help. Ive got the MAC 242 brush which Ive been trying to do the smokey eyed look with. Ive been using this one for the darkest colour in the crease and the outter corners. It doenst seem to be getting enough definition. Is it too large, should I be using a smaller one and can anybody recommend one please Thanks Lorraine |

many thanks charmaine
Have you any tips on applying the outter corner darker shade. ive sort of being putting it in the crease half way along and the trying and the word is "trying" cos I dont think ive been succeeding - in doing a sort of triangle shape down to the eye so it enlongates out any tips you can give would be fab. I love the #219 for definition. I use it for my crease a lot of the time and then blend with the #217.

Re: MAC brushes for definitioin
I usually apply color to the tip of my crease brush a little and the outside edges. I usually apply the tip of the brush in the crease of my eye socket and blend almost like a window wiper back and forth. I use the edge of the crease brush for more definition.
ps (my brush is bigger than the brush shown)

Re: MAC brushes for definitioin
I like using 219 for the smoky eye for liner on the upper and lower lid. For the crease and the v I like 217 or 224. You can pack the lighter color on your inner lid and then pack the darker color on the outer lid. Don't pack on the lighter color and then pack the darker color on top of the lighter color. Then take the 217 or 224 brush and blend the colors where they meet. Then take the 217, 224, 222, stila 7 or stila 20 brush to do the crease(whichever you prefer). Hope this makes sense.
